Senior Configurations Officer

Job Overview: As a Senior Configuration Officer, you will play a cross-functional role that serves as the critical link between the companys design team and their manufacturing team. The role essentially governs product change management and ensures both the continuous integrity of the product design data pack and the products continuous compliance to aviation regulations. Key Tasks & Responsibilities: Timely documentation, verification, and communication of product-related change requests. Execution of change impact analysis, where applicable. Arrangement and chairing recurrent change request meetings. Frequent notification and investigation of pending change request actions. Management of approved modifications to configuration items. Maintenance of the change management database and assurance of data integrity. Collaboration with the Design Engineers and Quality Assurance personnel to ensure continuous product compliance with applicable standards and regulations. Troubleshooting and resolution of minor change-related issues, working with relevant parties to identify root causes and implement preventive measures. Participation in project meetings and reviews to provide insights on configuration management aspects. Minimum Requirements & Personal Attributes : A degree in industrial engineering or equivalent qualification Proven experience in configuration management or related roles. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Knowledge of technical drawings is preferred. Familiarity with aviation manufacturing or design is a bonus. Working Hours: 07:00 16:00 (Monday Friday). From time to time, it will be required to work outside these hours in order to meet delivery schedules or as operational planning might require.
