We are looking for aSeniorBackend Developer or Fullstack(m|w|d)(Augsburg or Frankfurt) who wants contribute to new features to our backend services or across frontend and backend.
You need to be motivated and detail-oriented, want to solve interesting problems, work with a high degree of autonomy and willing to own an outcome. Working here means being part of a team that works hard, efficient and cleverly to build a great application.
You create the APIs and business logic your colleagues and our customers will build on. So you need to design robust endpoints, invest time in planning and technical architecture and work closely with your teammates and with our automation and integration team.
In a cross-functional team you will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Infrastructure engineers and of course other developers.
Tasks
You will implement high-quality state-of-the-art industry Software with great APIs which our users love
You will work with Product Owners and our customers to design the business logic and data structures as the fundament of our platform
You will set up and optimize software architecture and performance for our products on a high level of quality
You will test and document new interfaces you build to ensure good quality and high stability
You will build in methods to monitor usage of new features and collaborate with infrastructure engineers to deploy and monitor your code in production
You will work in interdisciplinary teams together with front-end engineers and UI/UX designers to shape excellent results in usability and performance
Requirements
You hold a degree in informatics or any comparable studies, or you have relevant experience in the field
You are familiar with backend development and NodeJS
Practical experiences with web application frameworks like HapiJS, Express or similar frameworks in other programming languages
You gained a minimumoffive years of working experience in designing and implementing backend services and RESTful APIs
You have advanced knowledge in data structure and software architecture design
You have experience with relational databases and SQL
You are well versed ingitversion controland agile development
You are enthusiastic about never knowing enough and learning newtechnologies
Excellent in spoken and written English, German nice to have
