Our company is looking to grow our candidate pipeline for future projects. We are looking for an experienced robotic process automation (RPA) developer proficient in UiPath to join our expanding UiPath and OpenBots capability.
The Senior Automation Developer should be a consummate expert with at least 5 years intelligent automation / RPA industry experience in UiPath tools and processes. They should possess a strong understanding of business processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They play a pivotal role in driving efficiency and innovation within an organisation through the successful implementation of automation solutions.

The Senior Automation Developer should have the capability to learn and become proficient with other industry standard platforms as dictated by business need. The primary platforms that you'll focus on include UiPath and OpenBots.
Expertise in OpenBots, Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism is beneficial.
Including South Africa, you will work closely with teams located in US and Europe .

Provide excellent client engagement. Implement, test and deliver high quality robotic process automation solutions (UiPath and OpenBots) Engagement team leadership and mentoring to ensure successful project delivery to the client Apply project management development and delivery methodologies as needed for successful engagement delivery (Agile, Waterfall, Wagile) by managing customer and project expectations, teams, schedules and serving as the day-to-day client contact Address technical delivery issues identified by the Delivery Team, Client or directly observed (Identify and resolve any problems or issues that may hinder a successful automation deployment) Enforce adherence to best practices among developers, including coding standards, naming conventions, testing practices, design, bot performance, and quality Work with client subject matter experts to gather and document process requirements Write end user and RPA administration operational run books/documentation for delivered RPA solutions Ensure clients have all necessary documentation and training to sustain and manage the RPA environment and automation going forward Responsible for coordinating with security teams for designing and implementing security measures to protect RPA solutions from unauthorized access, data theft, and other security threats Provide sales team support with regards to input into proposal writing engagement planning Requirements 5 or more years' demonstrated technical experience using UiPath More than 3 years of experience implementing RPA bots within an industry standard RPA platform RPA platform certification(s) Understanding of RPA infrastructure setup and best practices Understanding of Assisted vs Unassisted Robotics Implementations Ability to perform the role of a senior resource across multiple client project engagements Able to act as a technical lead or engagement lead on a project Ability to mentor, lead and delegates to others Assist customers in creating and maintaining effective process flow and documentation to manage the RPA environment Demonstrates interpersonal skills related to leadership, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, flexibility/adaptability and dependability to collaborate across the company System integration skills to integrate RPA solutions with other systems and applications. Experience with APIs, web services, and data formats like XML and JSON. Good understanding of databases and SQL to implement solutions that require automation interacting with Databases Experience in implementing solutions using Intelligent Document Processing or Optical Character Recognition Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and VirtualBox so as to validate the configuration of virtual machines for RPA implementation Experience in process re-engineering and optimization to identify areas of process improvement and to design automation solutions that optimize the process flow Experience in implementing processes that require humans in the loop Strong understanding of security and compliance requirements related to RPA solutions. Ability to design solutions that comply with data protection regulations Knowledge of security concepts related to server environments such as access control, permissions, and auditing. Ability to configure security settings to protect RPA solutions from unauthorized access. Nice to Haves Expertise in process discovery and familiarity with process modelling tools like BPMN is an advantage Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or .NET Project management Knowledge of analytics and AI techniques and tools like machine learning, and natural language processing as it relates to Intelligent automation solutions Education Bachelor degree in a technical major or similar amount of work experience Relevant industry certifications Hybrid Working 8 Days Study Leave Birthday Leave Religious Leave
