Senior Audit Manager (London Based)

Key Responsibilities: Accountability for Results: Ensure all projects and activities have specified outcomes that are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-defined. Change Focus: Lead change management activities, including planning, implementing, and guiding individuals and teams through changes to minimize disruption and achieve successful outcomes. Client Service: Manage client relationships, identifying opportunities for new contracts and business growth. People Management and Development: Oversee a team of employees, fostering their development to achieve organizational objectives. Teamwork and Co-operation: Foster a collaborative environment, promoting teamwork and co-operation among team members. Technical Expertise: Demonstrate advanced technical expertise in auditing, with a deep understanding of UK GAAP and International Auditing Standards. Risk Assessment: Implement audit plans designed by the Internal Audit Manager, performing financial and operational audits and identifying business process risks. Quality Assurance: Ensure standards of quality and accuracy are maintained in audits and other financial reports. Project Management: Schedule projects/audits and allocate audit resources efficiently, improving audit procedures and processes. Reporting: Report and communicate audit findings to audit committees, ensuring transparency and accountability. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Extensive experience (minimum 5 years) in audit and assurance services, including managing large, complex engagements and expertise in IFRS. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and overseas teams.
