Situated in the prestigious Lozenets district of Sofia, preceded over by stunning views of the picturesque Vitosha mountain, St. George International School & Preschool is dedicated to the education and social development of students from ages 2-19.
The school is located on a brand new, custom built site. It boasts 'world class' state of the art facilities – including large classrooms with capped pupil numbers, an athletics track, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, indoor heated swimming pools, indoor and outdoor football pitches, tennis courts and other sports facilities. Staff are able to take advantage of this brand-new sports complex, and gyms upon starting the academic year with us.
St. George International School & Preschool aims to provide both Bulgarian, and International Qualifications following The Cambridge International Curriculum. We currently have a student body of over 700 pupils, but envisage expansion up to 800 over the next three years.
In the light of our organisation's growth we are looking for: Secondary Art & Design Teacher To be considered for a position, you must have completed a PGCE (or equivalent) and have at least two years' experience in a UK state school. Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level Art & Design is expected. This role is not suitable for NQT teachers.
Your main responsibilities will be: • To plan, organise and conduct exciting, dynamic lessons
• To provide high quality teaching and learning
• To assess and monitor student achievement
• To provide pastoral support to your students
