DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS: This is an amazing career opportunity for an accountant who has just completed their articles – and is looking to get into a commercial environment. No post-article experience is required! Reporting to the Finance Manager – the successful will receive mentorship and will assume responsibility for the full accounting function for their division.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:BCom degree in AccountingCompleted SAICA or SAIPA Articles Exposure to manufacturing clients during articles will be beneficialMust live close to the East Rand, or be willing to relocateSomeone who is not just a "bean-counter", but also likes to be involved in operations
RESPONSIBILITIES: The financial accountant's responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Processing of month-end Journals/ Accruals to update TB for month-end close off.Compiling for review and submitting VAT returns to head office and SARS.Preparing Monthly reports for Management Reports.Liaison in the budgeting process between finance and different departmentsAssisting with Budgets.Fixed assetsDo you see yourself as the successful Accountant at this leading Company?
