The preferred cand...Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or related field. 5+ years of experience as a SHER Manager or in a similar role. Professional certification in safety management is advantageous. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety, health, environmental, and risk management policies and procedures. Ensure policies are aligned with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Monitor and enforce compliance with local, provincial and national safety and environmental regulations. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address non-compliance issues. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigation. Implement measures to minimize workplace accidents, injuries, and environmental impact. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee awareness of safety, health, and environmental issues. Lead investigations into safety incidents, accidents, and environmental spills. Develop and maintain emergency response plans to address potential workplace emergencies. Prepare and submit regulatory reports related to safety, health, and environmental performance.
