Objective of this Scope of WorkThe main purpose of this position is to manage project activities during all the delivery stages of the project i.e., from project inception, planning, execution, monitoring, and control to final close-out of the project.Scope of Services DefinitionThe scope will include managing phase 2 of a two phased project implementation.Phase I development and securing approval for the IT Resiliency Strategy.Phase II will be the re-engineering of current flow running on EIP to CP4I and the migration of approximately 100 existing company enterprise integration assets and flows to the IBM CP4I integrated platform.About the project:The scope includes:The redesign of existing flows into microservices, exposure of the newly created microservices via APIs and deployment of the APIs into the new CP4I's environmentArchitecture Documentation (Technical, Solution and Designs of flows)The definition of practices for streamlining service development life cycle (SDLC) on the IBM CP4I integrated platform to allow for faster turn-around time and quality deliverables. The scope includes establishing Development Security and Operations (DevSecOps) pipelines to automate builds, delivery, and deployment of containerised solutions.The proposal and implementation of CP4I operators (containers) that will support automated delivery pipelines such as continuous integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) tools, security tests, code checks, container repository, etc. Migration of the existing flows must be delivered through these pipelines.The automation of end-to-end monitoring of integration services within Enterprise Integration Platform (EIP) – by using Ops Dashboard and App dynamics.Knowledge transfer to Customer technical integration resources on migrated flows.Minimum Qualification Required:A minimum of a B degree / Advanced Diploma OR equivalent.A formal project management qualification / certification.Minimum Experience Required:5 - 10 years project management experience.Experience in Financial ServicesExperience relating to system integration.Sound knowledge and experience in managing large scale projects that are strategically aligned within the financial services industry.Sound knowledge of project cost management, contract, and service management.Pre- Requisite requirement:Previous experience managing Information Technology projects.Previous experience managing Infrastructure projects.Previous experience in engaging and managing inter-departmental projects.The following will be an added advantage:ITIL 3 or 4 foundation certificate.DevSecOpsCompetencies:Customer Service orientation.A good command of written and spoken English language.Analytical skills.The ability to compile own presentations and proposals.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Project budgeting skills.Computer literacy, especially in the Microsoft Office products, including MS Project.The ability to work in teams, manage people, resolve conflict (manage different personalities and frustrations in oneself and others.Ability to work under pressure.Quality assurance knowledge and skills.Continuous improvement knowledge and skills.Project management knowledge and skills.Project planning knowledge and skills.Give recommendations and advice based on the status of projects.Understand and interpret interdependencies of all projects.The key deliverables are:To define the project scope and work breakdown structure (WBS) in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of deliverables and the approach.To produce project management plans that comprehensively include scope, quality, risks, time, cost, people, procurement, integration, communication and to ensure they are regularly updated and maintained.To establish and manage relationships with all stakeholders, role players and service providers to ensure commitment to a common goal.To ensure that all project documentation, deliverables, and reports are produced, approved, and maintained timeously.To identify and manage project risks, issues, and constraints.To manage project changes whilst ensuring that the project management plan is aligned.To assist with the development of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and statement of work documents for professional services.To establish and effectively manage a project team; clearly defining roles and responsibilities for the delivery of project outputs.To direct and coordinate activities of project team members to ensure the project progresses according to the approved schedule, producing the expected deliverables, within budget and according to specification and quality standards.To provide leadership and motivation virtual project teams throughout the project life cycle.To effectively manage the budget, reconciling it against the approved budget.
