We are looking for a passionate andresults-oriented Marketing Manager to join our team and lead the execution ofour marketing strategy. The successfulcandidate will report directly to the Marketing and Merchandise Director. Thisposition is based at our Head Office in Cape Town.
Responsibilities : Implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company goals and objectives.Conduct market research to identify target audiences, understand customer needs, and track industry trends.Manage and develop relationships with marketing agencies and vendors.Oversee the creation of all marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and messaging.Analyze marketing campaign performance using data and metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends and technologies.Collaborate with other departments, such as buying, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support marketing goals.Manage and collaborate with store managers to ensure effective campaign execution and brand consistency across all locations.Track and analyze the performance of retail marketing campaigns to measure ROI and identify areas for improvement.Oversee the development of engaging content for in-store marketing materials.Create marketing campaigns specifically targeted to in-store customers, including point-of-sale displays, signage, and promotional events.Create a strategy for sponsorships, manage the sponsorship budget, allocate marketing sponsorship budgets based on best partnerships with the business. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferable.3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably a retail environment.Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills.Strong communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Experience with content marketing creation and management.A creative and strategic mindset with a passion for marketing.
