Repair, Maintenance, and Assessment Department Manager Fidelity Cash Solutions – CashMaster, Waltloo Pretoria Reporting to: Production Manager The role of the RMA Department is to Provide operations, production, and dispatch with repaired and/or refurbished spares to be re-used in the field, refurbished devices, at client sites, and as boot stock for the technicians. Emphasis is on cost saving and reliable service ensuring stock availability.
The RMA manager's role is to facilitate productivity through effective management of resources ensuring all staff are adequately trained and fully geared to perform their duties according to a high standard of quality.
Minimum Requirements: Matric, with the relevant post-matric qualifications.A wide range of technical product knowledge is essential.Excellent level of competence in Excel, Word, and Outlook.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines.Able to work and lead a team effectively in a complicated environment.Good analytical and problem-solving ability.Ability to liaise professionally with personnel at all levels.Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive) Ensure the daily operations within the department.Manage, direct, and monitor the performance of the returns and the RMA team.Effective liaison, support, and assistance to various departmentsReporting on a weekly basis or as otherwise requiredTraining and mentoring and performance reviewing of staff.Oversee the supply of reliable refurbished spares to the Boot Stock department.Monitor quality of workmanship with a reduction in repeat callsEnsure all SLAs are met - 72-hour turnaround time to supply Operations.Monitor all 'out of workshop' repairs with suppliers (e.g. Julong, GPT and GVV)RMA Stock control min/max levels in dispatch and re-ordering of stock.Controlling and planning staff leave.Investigate problems occurring in the field and report on findings (dead on arrivals).Make sure all transfers happen every day.Monitor Key Performance per individual.Monthly evaluations on stock consumptionEnsure compliance with group policies.Ensure the performance of preventative maintenance.Quality control, reporting, and analysis.Core Competencies Demonstrates integrity by modelling CashMaster's values and ethical standards.Strong analytical skills.Leads teams effectively and shows conflict resolution skills.Ability to self-manage and perform work independently.Consistently approaches work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude.Demonstrates openness to change and ability to manage complexities.Ability to advocate and provide policy advice.Ability to promote integrity and business ethics; demonstrate mature judgment, trust and open communication; ability to ensure effective teamwork, collaborative behaviour and team spirit.Ability to multi-task and prioritize work schedules.Ability to work and within a team environment.Ability to adopt to change.Ability to function under pressure.Skills Excellent verbal & written communication skillsExcellent telephone etiquette.Excellent reconciliation skillsWe reserve the right not to make an appointment to any advertised position.
