Quality Assurance Officer

Overall Job Purpose The purpose of this role is to plan, execute, monitor, develop & document all aspects pertaining to quality assurance and accreditation compliance for Capsicum Culinary Studio.
Core Functions: Implementing, developing, reviewing and improving the quality management function aligned to CCS accrediting bodies and partners.Development and alignment of quality assurance policies.Supporting and monitoring of the accreditation process.Maintaining effective communications with internal and external stakeholders and associated administrative duties.Support of the academic development process including the alignment of curriculum and standard operating procedures as required by legislative and accrediting bodies / partners.Carrying out of moderation and audit functions, supporting assessment practices and policy/procedure implementation.Training and development in line with quality management function.Optimisation of system integrations in support of the quality management system and quality management function.Key attributes: Must possess strong organisational skills and ability to multi-taskMust possess excellent inter-personal skills to work as a part of a teamMust possess intermediate / advanced digital literacy skillsMust possess a working knowledge of 21st Century teaching and learning strategiesBe enthusiastic and build a positive institutional cultureMust be flexible and resourcefulAbility to work under pressure and apply a disciplined approach to workloadMust possess excellent verbal and written communication skillsEthics and integrity must be a core valueMust be able to work collaboratively and build capacityMust be able to apply discretion and an understanding of confidentialityRequirements: SETA / NAMB registered Assessor – minimum of 2 years' experienceSETA / NAMB registered Moderator – minimum of 2 years' experienceMinimum NQF05 qualification (ideal - hospitality / culinary industry)Minimum 3 years' experience in learning and development / training / education sectorsUnderstanding of the OQSF and HEQSF frameworks, South African education landscape and skills development strategies
