Qs Needed - Underground Projects

Job Spec: Pro-actively manage Procurement Operating Plan (POP). Compilation of Bills of Quantity (BoQs) for amendments/orders/compensation events. Evaluate and submit requests as well as obtain approvals for variations and amendments to contracts. Initiate the relevant contract change management procedures and working closely with Project Controls to complete the required processes. Assist Procurement with tender enquiries, process and evaluation. Assist Procurement in administer contracts by producing and assessing amendments, compensation events. Evaluation of monthly payment applications. Qualifications & Experience: Relevant Degree/Tertiary qualification (BSc. Quantity Surveying, Btech Quantity Surveying). Minimum 8-year experience in working with NEC and FIDIC contracts. Minimum 8 years applied quantity surveying and estimating experience within the Gold mining environment (surface and underground). Minimum 5 years experience on project with values of greater than R100 million will be advantageous.
