Qa Tester (Istqb)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to help maintain high standards of software quality, Sandton (On-site)
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the team of developers to understand software functions.Develop and execute test plans to ensure software quality.Identify, analyze, and document software defects.Conduct regression testing and validate software fixes.Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.Monitor bugs resolution efforts and track success rates.Maintain documentation of tests and test results.Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements.  
Requirements:
 
5 years Proven work experience as a QA Tester or similar role.Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related fieldISTQB Foundation Level / ISEKnowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.Basic knowledge of coding and scripting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills.Attention to detail and a passion for quality.Exhibit flexibility towards extended work hoursDemonstrate effective team collaboration skillsDocumentation of test casesExecution of test casesFamiliarity with top-tier software testing standardsManagement and reporting of software defectsGrasping of the SDLCPrevious involvement in software development projectsComprehension or familiarity with programming languages such as Java, .Net, C++, XML, HTML, among othersProficiency in using test management or automated test tools.Salary R45 000
