The South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP) is the leading independent provider of education in psychology, counselling and coaching, offering accredited undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications.
SACAP is looking for a psychologist who is responsible for providing mental health services and support to students at SACAP.
The psychologist will provide a full range of counselling and support and development services to promote student wellbeing and strengthen student success.
The role reports directly to the Student Wellness Manager and Center.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
At least three years' experience in Higher EducationMaster's degree in counselling/ clinical psychologyRegistration with the HPCSA as a Counselling Psychologist /Clinical Psychologist SKILLS: Excellent interpersonal communication skillsComputer literateTime managementOrganised/ StructuredMethodicalHighly developed relationship building skillsSound understanding of professional and ethical principles and relevant legislation PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00
Friday: 08:30 – 16:00
*Due to the nature of this role, there will be a need to work flexible hours to the extent towhich it is reasonably necessary to perform the duties of the position.
