Job Purpose:
The Project Manager will be someone who is motivated and experienced who can handle complex projects from start to finish. The perfect candidate will have a history of leading well, communicating effectively, and being organised. The position will involve planning, carrying out, and keeping an eye on projects within budget and on time. Will also need to work well with different groups involved and make sure project outcomes meet high standards.
Responsibilities: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resourcesIdentify and mitigate project risks and issues proactivelyManage project scope, ensuring it aligns with project objectives and stakeholders' expectationsLead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal and external stakeholdersMonitor project progress, track key metrics, and provide real-time updatesCommunicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clear and concise communicationManage project documentation and ensure adherence to all relevant policies and proceduresIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectivenessConduct project post-mortems and identify lessons learned for future projectsQualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field (BCom preferred)Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the Finance & Insurance industryProven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budgetStrong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritise tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively under pressureProficient in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSalary: R35,000 to R40,000 pm CTC, depending on the level of experience
