SensePost is Orange Cyberdefense's elite consulting arm, renowned for its expertise, 20-year track record and innovation on the frontlines of cyber security. We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join the team in Pretoria.
This position is responsible for supporting and managing the scheduling and tracking of our rapid, short term, security assessments.
They are conducted on a by project basis, ranging between one and three weeks per project, and will occasionally be done at the client site, in the United Kingdom, South Africa, or abroad.
Your key responsibilities as a Project Manager will include the following:
Collecting project requests from Account Managers
Liaise with Operation Manager to identify the most appropriate resources for a project
Scheduling the projects accordingly in the required systems and communicating it back to the Account Manager
Making sure security analysts have all the necessary information and equipment to do the project
Liaise with the client to ensure that all technical and logistical information required is collected before the project commences
Monitor all active projects to ensure they are commencing according to plan and that there are no obstacles
Ensuring projects commences on agreed timelines
Check and manage project delays both with the client as well as the internal teams
Track project slippage and project overruns including the reasons for this
Produce utilisation reports on projects and consultant workload
Keep track of report delivery on each assessment including the reporting of this on a monthly basis
Keep track of project expenses and inform finance every end of the month of these expenses
To join us as a Project Manager, you must have the following skills and experience:
You must have solid office administration, travel or project management experience
You must be proficient with MS Office, MS Project and SalesForce
You will ideally have experience with JIRA and Confluence
You must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills
You will ideally have IT or cyber security industry experience
