Project Manager 6 Months Contract

Successful incumbent must hold a BSc Engineering/B.Sc. Construction management, a BTech will be considered with at least 7 years of working experience in Oil, Gas or Mining industry background. Must be familiar with MS Office and MS Projects as well as fluent in English and report writing. Must be able to do the following for a project execution.Manage execution team (execution and performance management)Hold two-weekly look ahead planning meetingHold daily progress meetingUpdate the project progressHighlight risks and mitigationHold weekly progress feedback meetingHold two weekly cost feedback meetingResponsibilities, Must be able to do the following during project planningDefine scopeDefine manpower requirementsDefine material requirementsDefine Service providers neededDefine the equipment neededDefine approvals needed (construction work approval. Etc)Issue RFQCost of the ProjectCreate a Schedule of activitiesPrepare tender documentAppoint service providers (37.2 and 7.1)Appoint labour ( contracts)Execution Method statement compilationManage project planning team (execution and performance management)Our client is looking for someone who can start immediately, as early as 2nd of April 2024
