Main purpose of the job

To provide administrative and coordination support to the project teams and implement project activities efficiently and effectively to ensure the successful internal delivery of projects
Location
Parktown, Johannesburg
Key performanceareas
Research project development
Assist with the development and implementation of new policies within the team
Develop SOPs for managing projects, recording activities and tracking progress
Work with the team to identify and manage risks
Project administration and coordination
Dropbox management (maintain, clean-up and add folders and files)
Setup committee meetings with lead staff and other admin meetings
Meeting minute taking
On-boarding of vendors
Payment and reconciling of suppliers
Required minimum education and training
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration/relevant qualification
Desirable additional education, work experience, and personal abilities
Computer literacy particularly MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience working in a public health environment, donor-funded organization, or NGO
Bookkeeping experience will be an added advantage. Exceptional organizational and administrative skills. Able to maintain confidentiality, tact and professionalism at all times
Display a high level of initiative and independent decision-making
Self-motivated with high regard for work ethic, value and integrity and highly organized
Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Required minimum work experience
Minimum 3 years working experience in office or project administration experience
