Job Purpose:As the Programme Delivery Manager for Enterprise & Supplier Development (ESD), the primary responsibility is to manage the end-to-end programmes, ensuring that they are planned, executed and delivered on time, within budget and meet the clients' specific needs. The role requires the management of the ESD programmes – leading of and problem solving with the SME growth team (mentors, specialist, subject matter experts) to support and grow SMEs. It will also require relationship management with corporate clients, design and develop solutions that are value-adding, and spot opportunities for value creation and delivery optimisation through the delivery process.Core Activities:Client Relationship Management Own the end-to-end client relationship lifecycle with all allocated clients Design and develop and ensure delivery for the complex clients of the BU Build and support the relationship with client based on the client needs Take ownership as main point of contact for all client engagement Ensure effective communication rhythms with the client Conduct research into all allocated clients to ensure in-depth knowledge of the client Drive in-depth understanding of client needs and develop solutions that are value-adding to the client to ensure business growth with leadership and guidance from the relevant Strategic Account Manager Ensure all programme delivery challenges are solvedProgramme Solutioning and Delivery Management  Manage the execution of project engagements, including project initiation, planning, governance as well as risk and issue management Monitor programme end date to ensure renewal conversations are planned and aligned Ensure effective and efficient correspondence with the delivery team to ensure coordinated delivery Manage correspondence with the Operations function to assist with facilitation of requirements, engagements and related deliverables Assist with the development of communications rhythms to ensure effective communications with clients Ensure capturing and sharing of good news stories with relevant stakeholders Provide inputs to programme sales proposals for existing clients Ensure set-up of all client and other stakeholder engagements including programme scoping sessions, steering committee and reporting cycle, etc Ensure Operations are team is briefed on the required support from a programme logistics point of view Measure, record, and report on progress of activities in relation to the agreed schedule and plansAnalysis and Reporting Manage delivery of analysis work on programmes and modify or apply project standards and methodology with the ability to support other team members if required. Ensure compilation of reports on programmes' performance and success. Lead engagements with service providers to ensure timely availability of the required reports.Financial Management Develop, monitor, and manage budgets for supplier development programs, ensuring financial sustainability and alignment  Owns the financial performance of the programme delivered Manages and tracks utilization of the approved budget of programmes delivered Ensures effective management of the costs in utilization of the approved programme budgets Provides support to the management of all elements of P&L against programme budgetImpact Measurement and Evaluation Responsible for measuring, recording, and reporting of progress on activities relating to the agreed schedule and plans across programmes Responsible for accurate and timely reporting to enable timeous preparations for sessions by clients Lead engagements with service providers to ensure timely availability of the required reports Ensure compilation of reports on programmes' performance and successBusiness Operations and Team Management Supports the Head of Client Solutions, position the BU and the Company as best in class within the marketQualifications Post graduate degree in Finance/ Engineering/ Business Management or another relevant field Relevant Qualification in Project methodology (Prince 2, PMP, MSP) Experience 5-7 years in projects management in a management consulting or similar environment Experience with Project methodology (Prince 2, PMP, MSP) Proven experience in program management, supplier development, and client relationship management. Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets. Understanding of South African business and socio-economic contexts, including transformation policies and B-BBEE requirements.
