Production Manager

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced PRODUCTION MANAGER for a national concern, position based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. JOB DESCRIPTION Grade 12. Valid drivers license. Relevant Degree in Production/Operations/Engineering. Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). 5-10 years manufacturing experience is essential. Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and health and safety standards. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Production planning. Team leadership. Quality control. Budget management. Excellent communication skills. Person will be required to oversee the manufacturing process within the company ensuring that production lines run without any problems and minimum downtime.
