RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established organisation in the EXPORT & DISTRIBUTION INDUSTRY to recruit an EARTH MOVING MECHANIC to be based at their offices in RICHARDS BAY . Up to R700 000 per annum, including benefits. OUR CLIENT, THE SINGLE LARGEST OF ITS KIND IN THE WORLD, HAS BEEN A WORLD-CLASS EXPORT TERMINAL SINCE 1976. Purpose of the Position The Earth Moving Mechanic will provide effective and efficient maintenance and service to Caterpillar dozers and other mobile equipment. The ideal candidate should have/be the following: Matric or N3. Trade tested Earth Moving Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic. 5 years experience maintaining earth moving equipment. Computer literate. Code B drivers license. Able to interpret electrical and hydraulic circuit diagrams. Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Key responsibilities, but not limited to: Maintain, service and repair Dozers, Front-End Loaders and Diesel Generators Attend to equipment breakdowns Maintain service and repair history on SAP Perform section standby duties Offer technical support to the team Perform team member duties Complying and maintaining ISO45001 and ISO14001 Health Safety and Environmental Standard Remuneration: Up to R700 000 per annum, including benefits.
