Sourcing and Costing
Execute supplierapproval and vendor rating
Negotiate (budget)volumes, price, contracts
Implement pricingstrategies
Increasing exclusivesupplier business
Reporting - internallyand to principles
Identifying newsuppliers for potential strategic products
Training of salesdepartment (technical expertise)
Optimising stocks andmanaging slow movers/obsolete stocks
Support procurement department- forecasts to sales team
Handle major complaintsand claims
Adherence to CompanyStandard Operating Procedures & Policies
YOUR PROFILEMatric
Tertiary qualificationin commercial field/sciences
5 – 7 years' experiencein a Product management/Commercial function that includes managing complex andor significant supplier/customer relationships and key accounts
Paint, Coatings,Adhesives & Construction/Chemical industry experience preferred.
SAP experienceadvantageous
Experience with CRM andMS Office
Must have a soundunderstanding of pricing structures
Ability to understandthe complete commercial pipelines and resolve issues in area of responsibility.
Strong knowledge ofimport / export, regulatory and logistics management
Able to work effectivelycross-functionally and with other business units' functional areas to achievecompany-wide objectives.
