The role will entail but not limited to:Contracting supplier that are not contracted by the Central Cullinan contracting teamRate comparisonsAssisting consultants with rate and product queriesObtaining PLI documents/ POPIA from various suppliersLoading rates and Ad hoc services linesAssisting with planning EducationalDesigning & quoting packages for our website & newsletters when requiredAssisting with our B2B site i.e. actioning of queries and uploading of new agents and creating new log-insAssisting with setting up of Product Training for consultantsPrepare agent specific product updatesAttend supplier functions after hours as and when requiredIn addition, the employee should be able to:Building relationships with all suppliers & co-workersExtend excellent customer serviceBe honest, creative, positive, and fairFit in with our company cultureMust be able to multitaskHave a passion for the travel industryInbound tour consulting experience advantageousAbility to work on Microsoft WordAbility to professionally, communicate via e-mail as well as telephonicallyA solid geographic knowledge of travel product across Southern AfricaFigures orientatedStrong negotiating skillsTake ownership ensuring all elements are taken care of in a professional and organized mannerA team player – thus someone who can receive directive from colleagues when need to achieve a mutual goalA can-do attitude with the ability to be proactive and enthused about their workPlease Note: Preference will be given to employees from the designated groups in line with the provisions of the Employment Equity Act, No. 55 of 1998 (and any amendments thereto).
