You will pro-actively contribute towards the companies'''' global procurement vision of best practice and being the market leader in procurement by working with Senior Management to improve and promote high levels of operational performance. Oversee Daily Business Operations Researching and identifying growth opportunities Manages relationships with suppliers Seeks new suppliers to enhance supply chain and explores agency agreements Assist senior management with completion of tender proposals and works with suppliers to ensure market competitiveness Ensures the procurement process operate in line with company QHSE standards, policies and procedures Buyer Approvals - Signing off quotes, providing ex rate, approving purchase ordes on GP Ensures quote approvals are checked and signed accordingly Ensures queries are resolved promptly whether internal or external Ensures customs paperwork is provided in a timely manner Conduct client presentations Assist in preparation of Exhibitions and Trade Shows, attending as requried Ensure client contracts are accurate and pro-actively manage renewal process Assist with surplus stock disposal and marketing of e-commerce tool Responsible for month end closing of Sales Strong customer focus Computer literate Business minded Great opportunity for a mid level Buyer / Procurement Officer.
