Key Responsibilities, Accountabilities, and Duties: - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs, ensuring quality and timely delivery. - Utilize engineering drawings to discern requirements accurately. - Assist in selecting reliable suppliers and contractors, fostering excellent procurement practices. - Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions effectively. - Issue purchase orders and agreements promptly, monitoring order fulfilment within contractual timeframes. - Proactively communicate any delays or potential issues with relevant stakeholders. - Monitor supplier performance and cultivate productive supplier relationships. Qualifications and Experience Required: - Minimum National technical certificate (N4) or relevant diploma. - At least 3 years of experience in a procurement officer or related role. - Prior experience in an electronic/mechatronic engineering environment.
