We're Lear For You.Company OverviewMaintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) using SAP MRP systemComply with schedule for periodic BOM audits; and ensure timeous closure of findingsLead and implement engineering changes, with minimal investment and a drive for zero obsolescenceEnsure effective process planning with the goal to maximize resource utilizationUpdate and maintain standard work instructions (SWI)Conduct method and time studies as a tool to optimize resource planningReview and manage Process FMEA using APiS softwareAssume responsibility for the receipt and accurate control of patterns and/or CAD dataGenerate cutting programs to create cut-parts for the manufacture of trim coversWhere needed, ensure cutting dies are manufactured according to customer specifications and/or CAD dataLiaise with suppliers and ensure adherence to latest engineering revision levelsUpdate and maintain plant layout drawings using AutoCADAssume responsibility for the submission of BOMs to IMDS and liaise with IMDS team for approvalsComply with all relevant Lear procedures and policiesEducational RequirementsNDip / B-Tech Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (or any equivalent qualification)3 – 5 years working experienceA proven track record in the automotive industrySpecial RequirementsGood communication skillsBe able to function autonomouslyKnowledge of Lectra and Gerber cutting machines would be beneficialA solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing would be beneficialKnowledge of the following software's would be beneficial: SAP MRP system; APiS FMEA; AutoCADHave a firm grasp of the MS Office packageWhy LearWe offer a fantastic place to work, opportunity to grow and being part of a company who places its people first.#J-18808-Ljbffr
