Due to growth our client are looking to expend their dynamic and expanding Civil and Structural (C&S) team at their office based in Manchester, seeking a skilled Principal/Associate Engineer to join their vibrant workplace.
As a key player in their team, you will not only be a people leader but also serve as a technical sounding board, applying your extensive experience to guide the team in solving complex design problems.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the design on multiple projects as the lead Civil Engineer.Lead and manage large C&S project teams or smaller teams effectively.Provide technical support and mentorship to address design challenges faced by the team.Develop the infrastructure capability of our growing Civil and Structural department.Build and nurture relationships across diverse sectors, planning for future projects.Manage teams on a day-to-day basis, supporting the Director in wider business elements.Act as a technical authority for Infrastructure Design across all project offices.Qualifications and Experience: Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer CEng MICE/ MIStructE.Proven experience leading and managing teams.Extensive experience with Autodesk Civil 3D, Microdrainage, and AutoCAD.Strong technical knowledge of Civil design, including earthworks, drainage, pavement design, external works, and 3D underground services coordination.CSCS Card.SC clearance (or eligibility).Full Clean Current UK Driving Licence.At First Recruitment Group we understand just how important it is to secure the right people.
