PBT Group has an opportunity for a PowerApps Developer. The Power Platform Developer is to deliver services and solutions for our internal clients through the effective use of the Power platform suite. This will include Microsoft PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Dynamics Flow, Microsoft Teams amongst others. The Development will be a combination of custom, model driven and integration-based patterns. Duties:Work directly with clients to support various projects and solutions.Responsible for developing PowerApps model and canvas driven apps.Utilize problem-solving skills to understand client pain points and troubleshoot as challenges arise.Installation and configuration of data gateways.Understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources.Development of Azure logic apps and functions and Power BI development.Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365.Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.Identify areas and processes where Microsoft 365, Office 365, and SharePoint can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement.Responsible for estimating work content and achieving planned timelines.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Multi-task effectively between projects.Proficient working in Agile project methodologies.Adept at leveraging new approaches to solutions for system design and functionality.Interpret and design database models (MYSQL, SQL Server, etc.)Address and remediate security vulnerability findings in PowerApps.Integrate Power BI Reports and dashboards into PowerApps.Satisfy requirements, meet agreed completion dates, and perform unit and integration testing.Communicate proposed designs and progress on the work to customers, team leads, and team members.Support cross-functional project teams consisting of app development, IT operations, and information security. Skills and Experience Required:SharePoint and Office 365 Expertise:Over 2 years of experience as a SharePoint Site Owner and/or Site Collection AdministratorExtensive customization of SharePoint lists and systems using PowerAppsProficient in designing and developing data views and Power PagesHands-on experience in Office 365 development, including PowerApps, Flow, Power BI, Teams, and SharePoint OnlineTechnical Proficiency:Strong .NET development experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSSPrevious experience with SOA/web services design and programmingProficiency in creating PowerShell scripts for automation tasks.Power Platform Mastery:Expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps, Flow, and Power BISkilled in optimizing Power Platforms and performing migrations of these capabilities.Clear understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methodsProject Management and Communication:Familiarity with varied software development methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile, and ScrumStrong project management skills with meticulous attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of compiling clear and concise specifications and documents.Additional Skills:Proficiency in presenting to both large and small audiences.Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions to enhance performance.Knowledge of PowerApps and Flow licensing plans and featuresUser-Centred Design Experience:Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in a user-centred design and development environment, preferably in multiple roles and organizations Qualifications/ Certification:Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or other related field.Preferred certifications in developing business applications with PowerApps and Flow * In order to comply with the POPI Act, for future career opportunities, we require your permission to maintain your personal details on our database.
