Adri Mentz together with Dr D Mentz and Dr L Kruger recently established Karoo Health Care, a general health care practice, to serve the community of Graaff-Reinet and surrounding areas with optimal health care. Adri Mentz is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physiotherapist to join our team, in her general physiotherapy practice. As a physiotherapist at our facility, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to help individuals regain mobility, alleviate pain, and improve overall quality of life. Responsibilities: - Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate recovery and improve functional outcomes. - Provide hands-on therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education to promote self-management - Adjust treatment plans according to patient progress to ensure optimal results. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care effectively. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports. Requirements - NB - Bilingual: Afrikaans & English - ONLINE INTERVIEWS ACCESS - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution. - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and exercise science. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues. - Excellent clinical reasoning skills. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Pilates and/or yoga training will be advantageous. - Clinical experience will be advantageous. - Up to date dry needling training. - Utilize evidence-based practice to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
