Pharmacy Manager

Pharmacy Manager  - Jhb Introduction Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of strategy for the pharmacy department in line with the pharmacy divisions strategic themes. The incumbent with further manage all related pharmacy services and activities according to the policies, procedures, philosophy and objectives on the Private Hospital group.

Key requirements:

A relevant Pharmaceutical qualification (B.Pharm. Degree or Dip. Pharm).
Registered with South African Pharmacy Council and Pharmacist
Previous experience in management of Private Hospital Pharmacy and a minimum of 2 years post community service
Advanced level of Computer literacy
Sound financial knowledge and the ability to interpret financial data
Sound knowledge of Private Hospital Pharmacy business operations
Shift Working

 

Key responsibilities:

Manage the pharmacy financials as well as understanding the financial fundamentals
Manage all aspects of the retail pharmacy business including optimizing prescription and from shop sales
Management of patient pharmaceutical care in the hospital comprising both hospital and retail pharmacy environments
Ensure the pharmaceutical standards, quality assurance and risk management in maintained within the hospital.
