Organisational Design Architect

The Human Resources Department, which forms part of the Shared Services Division, seeks a dynamic, experienced, and innovative individual with advanced organisational design architecture expertise. The Freelancer (Independent Contractor) will be responsible for assisting management in designing a fit-for-purpose organisational structure aligned with the new strategic plan and implementing initiatives that will drive culture, change, and effectiveness.
Organisational Design Architect Contract appointment 12 months – on a needs basis Ref No: (OD-PTA 04/24) Honour's degree in Industrial Psychology or Organisational Psychology or a relevant field within Human Resources.A minimum of five (5) years experience as a Specialist in organisational design, which should include facilitation and management of strategic organisational design and interventions.REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOURAL ATTRIBUTES): Knowledge of higher education environmentCulture and diversity managementWork or time-motion study skillsFacilitation and presentation skillsProcess re-engineering skillsProject Management SkillsADDED ADVANTAGES AND PREFERENCES: Registration as a Psychometrist (Independent Practice) with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) - essentialRegistration as a Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) – desirable. Duties & Responsibilities Organisational architecture diagnostic.Design and optimisation of an enabling organisational structure aligned with business strategy.Develop relevant frameworks to enable alignment and compliance.Develop strategies to embed desired organisational culture.Assist management with Organizational Design and development advisory services.
