An important position forming part of the integral Operational Excellence Mission within this global multibillion Euro group, the Continuous Improvement Manager will be employed within their UK organisation (revenue of approx. £100m pa).
To be considered you will demonstrate expertise / best practice and provide specialist training in the use of lean / continuous improvement tools and techniques. Working with the management teams to positively encourage the deployment of trained resources to work on planned and approved projects.
It is essential for candidates to demonstrate experience of driving lean / continuous improvement (CI) initiatives within any demanding manufacturing, engineering or construction environment. Candidates will be of graduate calibre and ideally possess Six Sigma Green Belt certification, although this is not essential and can be a gained once started in the position. Most importantly you will demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication & influencing skills and an engaging hands-on people style, coupled with genuine passion for change and enrichment of the workplace using lean / continuous improvement (CI) techniques.
Please note that travel across the North West of England is regular with some home / remote working. The basic salary advertised is dependent on experience. The total package includes a car allowance of £7,500 per annum, an annual bonus scheme and comprehensive benefits including an employer pension contribution of 7.5%.
