Requirements:Diploma or Degree in Nursing and SANC registeredNursing Administration/Management diploma would be advantageousRegistered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years' experienceAt least 3 years experience in a supervisory/management positionPrevious experience in a Private Hospital preferredPossess excellent interpersonal and communication skillsDetail-oriented with honesty and integrityAbility to work independently with strong management, planning, and organizing skills at all levelsAdaptable with proficient computer literacy (Microsoft Office)Must be flexible and possess a clear understanding of quality Risk ManagementAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to lead and uphold the healthcare groups vision and valuesAvailable for hospital on-call duty and overtime as requiredKey Outputs:Provide support to Shift leaders and troubleshoot problems effectivelyAssess patient acuity and liaise with Nursing Service Manager for additional resources as requiredMonitor SHEQ, IPC, and Quality principlesCo-ordinate and audit after-hour admissions, discharges, and stock/medication levelsResponsible for issuing medication promptly from the emergency cupboard, following Medication PoliciesEnsure emergency preparedness across all hospital departmentsAudit patient files to contribute positively to billing and revenueEffectively manage resources, stock, and medication wastageConduct regular ward and patient rounds and act as a liaison between departments and stakeholdersDelegate tasks efficiently while adhering to patient advocacy principlesFacilitate Education and Training initiativesAdhere to and enforce hospital policies, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
