Nextec - Technician

The Role: Essential functions:Monitor network.Accurate log of tickets.Climb towers, ladders, etc.Troubleshooting and problem solving.Installation and support of corporate LAN environment incl but not limited to IP PBX, routers, switches, firewall, server environment, DNS and desktop hardware and software applications.Safety and prevention planning and control.Periodic maintenance. Reporting.Skills and Experience: Qualification Essential Competency:Grade 12,A+, N+, CCNA.Minimum 3 years experience in wireless installation.Experience required:The Technician will perform maintenance and repairs on wireless devices such as Point to Point, Two-Way Radio and Mesh networks by fixing and replacing defective parts.Also install equipment to create wireless networks and fix any network problems that arise.Other: Work environment:Climb towers, ladders and operate small equipment.Travel from time to time.Physical demands:Climb towers, ladder and operate small equipment.Travel:Traveling be required from time to time.
