National Fundraiser, Ngo, Cape Town

Our client is a national NGO, distributing food throughout SA, alleviating hunger whilst reducing the environmental impact of food loss and waste by recovering food from various farmers, retailers, and manufacturers to feed thousands of people in vulnerable communities.   Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:   Degree or Diploma with proven fundraising capability Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Driver's license and willing to travel 5+ years' experience in fundraising and donor relationship management Experience with presentation and public speaking An equity candidate is ideally sought Candidate MUST reside in Cape Town   The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to: Achieve fundraising target and conduct research to identify potential donors Seek donation and reduce operational expenses Complete / compile grant applications Assist with development strategy and donor stewardship plan Assist with promotions, events, and campaigns Provide story leads for marketing purposes   Salary: Market related dependent on experience
