You will be responsible for deploying excellence in strategic thinking across the Category Strategy/Growth Drivers, Revenue Management (pricing strategy, Price Pack Architecture, Mix, Promotional ROI), Customer Trading Strategies, category analytics, as well as ownership of the company direction across our DPSM metrics (distribution (D), Price (P), Share of Shelf (S), Share Broadsheet (M)) Key responsibilities: As the role has a high level of integration across the full commercial team you will need to partner across sales, marketing, operations and finance to deliver Innovation, share growth, organic growth and portfolio profitability. The following areas make up the core accountability of role: * Development and through-the-line integration of the Category Visions and Growth Drivers and how they will need to live across channels. * Net Revenue Management (NRM) deployment which leads to creation of Net Realised Revenue (NRR) across Pricing, Price Pack Architecture, Mix Management, Promotional Optimisation etc. * Developing and enabling effective and robust customer trading strategies that are defined by business, category and revenue growth requirements. * Own and drive all Go to Market elements behind new product innovation including strategic pricing architecture, volume outlook across retail landscape, commercial selling story and trade launch execution. * Ensure the successful development, strategic intent, tracking and reporting of the DPSM metrics (Distribution, Pricing, Share of Shelf, Share of Broadsheet) * Ensure timely, accurate and insightful reporting of the monthly category, competitor and retailer landscapes across your relevant portfolios Requirements: * Minimum of Bachelor's degree required. With 5 years of experience between sales and category development at a senior level preferably within FMCG. * Experience within both the Modern Trade and Traditional/Route to (informal) Markets advantageous. * Solid understanding  of consumer, shopper and customer/retailer needs within FMCG * Understanding/Appreciation of key business principals across, Revenue Management (Pricing Strategies, Price Pack Architecture, Mix Management, Promotional Optimisation and Customer Trading Strategies), Category strategy, and Joint Business Planning.
