ExperienceThe successful incumbent must possess at least eight (8) to ten (10) years experience working as a Mineral Resource Manager within the gold mining industry.Formal qualificationsBachelors (Honours) degree in Geology, mining, or any related fieldValid driving license code 8Valid medical certificate (Underground and or Surface dependent upon the inherent requirements of the position)Technical knowledge of MRM disciplines: Geology, Survey, Rock Engineering and Mine planning. ResponsibilitiesEstimate the quantity and quality of mineral reserves through advanced modelling and analysis Develop and implement strategies for the efficient extraction of mineral resources Development, implementation, and evaluation and alignment of Mineral Resource Management practices to the operational strategy and objectives of the mineEnsure mine planning department is aware of any factors which may have an impact on short- and medium-term scheduling outcomesProvide effective leadership and guidance to employees, ensuring efficient training and development of skills for successful implementation of all MRM activitiesManage necessary documentation and recordsPreparation, allocation, and submission of the Departments budgetEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and permits.
