Mid Graphic Designer (Ftc) Mr Price Money

Do you have a creative eye, attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines?Mr Price Money is looking for a self–motivated, passionate and conceptualised creative to join their marketing team for 4-6 months fixed term contract. The role will be entrenched across the Mr Price Money and MRP Cellular Sub-Brands and the individual will be responsible for both strategic thinking and creative execution.-Working closely with both the Brand and Digital Marketing Teams to understand the business needs/requirements across store card and cellular-Working closely with these teams and Copy to conceptualize campaigns that deliver on agreed objectives-Design primarily for digital applications (online and social)-The ability to do animation advantageous-Get involved in all levels of work from print to digital – complete ownership!-Completing full campaigns and creative concepts in preparation for presentations to senior management as part of the Marketing Strategy-Maintaining high brand standards and creating original and fresh solutions to briefs;-Creating design and layout using typography, colour, photography and illustrations;-Able to translate supplied/created key visuals across multiple divisions-Walking closely with divisional creative teams/marketing departments-Ensuring the correct print specifications and artwork are submitted to suppliers-Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief-Conceptualization/idea generation for new jobs with creative resolve-Work experience in a Mac based environment (preferred but not limited to)-Proficiency in the use of design applications such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat. In order-A degree / diploma in design with 3-5 years work experience-Excellent attention to detail-Portfolio of own creative work-Ablility to manage own time and prioritize work-Good time management and ability to prioritize workMust be available immediately as this is a fixed-term contract
