Mechanical Draughtsman / Engineer

Reference: 9339 AV Consultant:Anneke ViviersJob Description:Produce 2D drawings in accordance with design specifications for process and mechanical equipment and components, to aid in planning and production processes.Create block flow diagrams for projects.Utilise CAD programs to merge schematics and design data into precise 3D models.Review design documents and plans to verify dimensions and materials, collaborating with engineers to resolve any discrepancies.Design pump station layouts.Assist engineers in initial planning by crafting spontaneous design sketches and models for analysis and adjustment.Compile customer sign-off, general arrangements and manufacturing drawings.Collaborate with engineers, production technicians and clients.Continuous Development on company CAD library.Formulate standard operating procedures.Generate renderings for inclusion in product brochures and project tenders.Qualifications:Associate degree in draughting.BTech / BEng are advantageous, but not required.2-5 years of experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.Sound understanding of water supply industry is beneficial.Exceptional technical communication skills with engineers and manufacturing personnel.Keen attention to detail and strong mathematical abilities.Ability to adhere to drawing procedures accurately.Capable of working within deadlines.Strong computer skills; must be proficient with Excel; Microsoft Office preferred.Strong communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to travel internationally and to collaborate with the Hartland-based team.Effective technical problem resolution.How to Apply:Email your comprehensive CV to******.If you are already registered, please forward your CV and the relevant reference number to the consultant with whom you are currently registered in order to avoid duplicity on our system.We reserve the right to only conduct interviews with candidates of choice.Applicants who have not received feedback within 30 days from the closing date must please accept their application as unsuccessful.
