Mechanical Design Engineer

Collaborate with overseas suppliers and customers to refine and finalize designs.Interface with Analysis, Test, and Manufacturing Engineering to determine the most effective use of materials and manufacturing processes.Acquire proficiency in operating CAD software and PLM systems.Provide creative and technically feasible solutions for cost savings, service issues, and product improvements.Undergo concept and design reviews for continuous improvement.Develop 3D parts and 2D drawings, aligning with supplier and regulatory standards.Interface with the Product Regulation and Compliance staff to design products that meet government regulations, restrictions, and codes.Provide support for daily customer activities and interface with materials and purchasing on new part design and sourcing.Skills & Experience:At least 3+ years of engineering experience.Experience in 3D CADProficiency in Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks Composer, and NX Unigraphics will be an advantage.Available to travel internationally for variable durations.Qualification:Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or EquivalentSouth African citizenship.Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.ContactWIEDAAD LEEMANon
