Our Client is looking for a talented and creative Marketing & Brand Co-ordinator to promote its unique story and to build visibility and differentiate its products in the highly competitive wine industry. This exciting opportunity is open to a passionate and driven individual with 3+ years' experience in creating marketing plans and managing and implementing day-to-day campaigns and events. He/she/they will be highly creative and demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders through both design and the spoken/written word across all media and communication platforms. An enthusiastic team player, the successful candidate will work closely with the owner, as well as a hands-on mentor and other members of our client's team and will be a crucial contributor to the brand's successResponsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Creating marketing and sales plans together with the Local Sales Coordinator (SC) to best reach our client's target audiences - both trade and consumerImplementing marketing activities according to the agreed annual marketing planCommunicating across all platforms to all stakeholder groups, creating visual and written materialsActing as brand champion, maintaining the "brand bible" to ensure consistency across all communicationsEnsuring all materials reflect our client's values and personalityControlling the marketing budget against agreed plansMonitoring effectiveness and monthly tracking/reporting of all marketing activitiesSupporting the SC in creating an annual promotional calendar to promote local sales of specific winesRepresenting brand at trade events and other public appearances as requiredSupporting the owner on all marketing fronts, both Local and international, including diary managementIdentifying new Export markets, in agreement with the owner, researching and approaching potential partnersCommunicating with existing Export clients to explore ways of increasing sales/cross-sellUndertaking market visits, local and international, as requiredProviding support for the owners overseas visits as necessary Specific areas of responsibility:Social media - Managing and executing all aspects of social media to ensure planned and coordinated messagingCollateral/marketing materials - Creating all required marketing materialsWebsite - Ensuring the website is current and appropriate to the brandPR/media - Ensuring a high profile for the brand across local and international mediaPhotography and videos - Managing the photography and video requirements for all platforms to ensure consistencyCompetitions - Managing competition entries both local and international Wine Club - Undertaking design and copywriting of all communication with Wine Club membersTrade Shows and Consumer Events - Supporting SC and other members of the team as necessary in attending trade and consumer eventsTasting room - Support the SC and TRA for promoting the tasting roomKEY SKILLSTrack record in marketing/brand management, ideally 3+ yearsExcellent spoken and written communication skills in EnglishGood organisational and planning skillsCapacity to be creative and innovative in designing marketing plans and materialsAn understanding of the latest marketing techniques and practicesGood industry knowledge both trade and consumer - WSET qualification at Level 2 or above would be a plusGood IT knowledge including PowerPoint and ExcelProven experience of budget management and forecastingDemonstrable education in marketing to diploma level or higher CHARACTERISTICSPro-active, driven, motivated and able to take initiativeCreative thinker and problem solverAbility to design and write creatively and effectivelyStrong customer service orientationAble to work autonomously in a small team environmentAbility to live our client's brand values
