We look forward to your application!Mission/ Core purpose of the JobManco HR Operations is a sub-function within the Manco HR Services Function in MTN Group HR. The Manager: Recruitment Analytics, MI & Reporting, Onboarding & Services is responsible to manage the day to day operational service delivery for Manco South Africa customers, with the objective of driving service and experience excellence. In addition, they are responsible to oversee data integration, reporting and analytics, and management information systems, incorporating artificial Intelligence to streamline technology processes within the job scope. This role is pivotal in leading the strategic development and implementation of strategic initiatives aligned with the overarching business goals. The specific service delivery work areas include:• Manco Recruitment and other key HR metrics Analytics • MI & Reporting and Automation • Onboarding technology processes • Employee data servicesThe Manager: Recruitment Analytics, MI & Reporting, Onboarding & Services reports to the Senior Manager: Manco HR Operations / GM: HR Operations.Key Performance Areas: Core, essential responsibilities / outputs of the position (KPA's)The Manager: Recruitment Analytics, MI & Reporting, Onboarding & Services will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:Strategy Development and Implementation- Work collaboratively with different functional areas to ensure the data strategy supports the unique needs of each department while aligning with the company's strategic goals. This includes for example using predictive modeling to forecast hiring needs, optimizing recruitment channels and making data-driven business decisions.- Develop and execute a comprehensive data management strategy that is not only in alignment with MTN's overarching business objectives but also leverages data analytics and artificial intelligence. Governance Strategic Meetings- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through data-driven insights, adjusting strategies as needed to enhance service delivery.- Spearhead change initiatives by providing data-backed insights into SLA adjustments, policy updates, and procedural enhancements, ensuring they align with strategic business objectives.Escalations- Escalate issues that will result in severe time, scope, productivity, and cost or resource impact- Manage and provide solutions to escalations that have multiple processes / functions impact on critical path of service deliveryFunctional Tactical- Provide input into establishing objectives, targets and budgets for analytics, MI & Reporting, Automation, onboarding technology initiatives and employee data services as applicable- Identify and document key risks, issues and dependencies and set mitigation actions- Prepare documentation required for sign-off / making decisions regarding tactical changesPerformance- Ensure execution in alignment with functional strategy.- Provide input into SLA approval and exception performance review.- Establish relationships of mutual respect with all stakeholdersReporting- Report on a weekly basis on progress made within the function and in accordance with the measurement metrics set by the organization where required.- Ensure key data metrics are utilized and predictive analysis made in this regard.- Report on operational KPIs and SLAs as and when required.- Report on an ad hoc basis on specific projects, as required.Budgets - Manage forecasting, planning, development and review of the operational budget for the function.- Oversight on control costs through the choice of lower cost options / more effective processes and procedures and ensure that spending remains within budget limits.Operational Delivery- Responsible to Implement best practices and methodologies for o Recruitment Analytics o MI & Reporting and Automation o Onboarding technology processes o Employee data Services- Integrate AI and data analytics into the recruitment process to enhance candidate sourcing, screening, and selection.- Automate and streamline onboarding processes using digital solutions to improve new hire experiences, - Compile statutory reports as required including but not limited to B-BBEE, EE, Audits etc- Compile all management reporting as required, ensuring 100% data accuracy.- Reduce manual tasks, and ensure compliance with organisational standards and regulations.- Leverage the HCM platform to its fullest potential, utilizing data management capabilities to its fullest extent. - Ensure data management standards and experience is in line with MTN Group defined experience standards - Develop a robust framework for data integration and management, ensuring that recruitment, onboarding, employee records and related data is accurately captured, stored, and analysed.- Generate and disseminate detailed reports on recruitment metrics, onboarding effectiveness, and service delivery performance, utilizing advanced reporting tools and AI to provide actionable insights.- Oversee the creation of dashboards that provide real-time visibility into all key HR activities, facilitating quick decision-making and strategic adjustmentsWays of Working and Collaboration:- Collaborate and engage with Manco Business Talent Partners, Rewards & Recognition Partners and Recruitment and Services Partners and other roles as required, to improve service delivery, gather insights or specific operational service expectations and requirements of the Business Unit.- Collaborate and engage with Global Employee Experience teams to align Manco customer practices with the best practice data management and the global experience framework, to improve employee journeys using experiential interventions and enable digitization for improved service quality.- Foster partnerships with technology providers and industry experts to stay abreast of the latest trends in AI, data analytics, and HR technologies, ensuring MTN remains at the forefront of innovative recruitment and onboarding practices.Reporting- Collate and prepare appropriate daily, weekly, and monthly analytical data-driven activity and performance reports, in accordance with the measurement metrics set by management. - Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of management. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Social Science, Psychology, Business Management or related field required MBA or Masters (advantageous) Data/Analytics skills (advantageous) Relevant certification / accreditation / membership with professional body relevant to HR Operations and Service Management Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in HR Generalist function (HR Operations/Administration) At least 3 years' plus experience in Data Analytics, BI and Reporting Worked across diverse cultures and geographies advantageous Experience working in a small to medium organization Experience in TechCo Business (advantageous) Project Management experience Competencies:Functional knowledge South Africa Contract and Labour law HR policies and procedures Deep Analytical, and management information reporting skills Technical concepts relating information systems and artificial intelligence HR operations and service delivery Skills Strong Communication People Management Decision Making Analytical Data interpretation Strong Numeracy skills Influencing Judgment Consulting Coaching HR Administration Planning, organizing & control Knowledge of HR systems & metrics
