Manager, Mi & Data Governance

Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Simmonds Street 5
Responsible for input into the development and implementation of the data governance and business intelligence strategy as well as remediation strategies. Responsible for monitoring and oversight of all operational efforts to remediate data across business units. Ensures consistency of use of the NFR data and insights business units. Drive compliance to the Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting framework and support. the implementation across the segments for Non-Financial Risk Management.
Initiate and participate in the attainment of Non-Financial Risk's (NFR) strategic objectivesExecute on and contribute towards the Data and Information Governance in Non-Financial RiskManage and execute on Risk Insights requirements in enabling NFR to achieve strategic objectivesEffective interaction with stakeholders with minimum supervision and manage stakeholders across all the risk types in Non-Financial RiskProvide support and guidance to interns and graduate trainees seconded to the area Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: First Degree in Mathematics orComputer Science or Science orBusiness degree with Information Systems andAnalysis of data or similarExperience Required: 3-4 years' Experience in critical operational risk data analysis and working independently within minimum supervision. Quantitative modelling experience will be an advantage.3-4 years proven ability to exploit, explore and leverage on technology to advance business intelligence within the Standard Bank Group
