DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS: A well-established, highly successful Agricultural Company based in Mpumalanga is looking to employ a Management Accountant to join their team. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:BCom degree with completed SAICA or SAIPA ArticlesQualified accountant (CA or CIMA) – extremely advantageous3 - 5 years' post-article experience in an Accountant/Management Accountant role.Experience in Agriculture/production/manufacturing industry essentialExperience with Capex and capex reviewsExperience working with FOREXExperience and knowledge of product costing will be preferredGood commercial and business awareness
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will be responsible for the following:
Assist in the processing of financial transactions and updating records.Ensure various financial recons are done and reviewed timeously.Assist with weekly and monthly reporting.Check electronic weekly batch payments loaded on the bank.Assist with annual budgets and monthly forecasts.Assist with the annual compilation of Financial Statements and the preparation for the financial audit.FOREX preparation and accountingSales prices & accurate price forecastingProduct costings and ROI/Payback (Existing Products and New Product Development)CAPEX: Payback/NPV/ROI/Timelines/Risk (Pre and post implementation review per project)Insurance (Marine andAssetAllRisk)Do you see yourself as the successful Management Accountant at this leading Company?
