A Luxury Game Reserve is looking for a Maintenance Assistant
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible to assist the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor with the repair and maintenance of all facilities, buildings and equipment. Failure to provide adequate services may result in unsafe or poorly maintained facilities and equipment.
KEY FOCUS AREAS
Timeous follow up on all newly reported issues
Maintain guest rooms using rooms preventive maintenance program
Perform general maintenance to guestrooms and public areas
Perform guest requests as assigned
Assist in all phases of repair work
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
Maintain the proper use, cleaning, maintenance and storage of all tools. Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces
REQUIREMENTS – QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
* Grade 12
* Ability to communicate clearly (Spoken and written)
• Valid Driver’s License
* At least 5 years’ experience in maintenance or building trades preferred
NB: Those are the normal Salary that they will normal get but Due to the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic and the resultant restrictions placed on our industry by the South African government as part of the National Disaster Management Act, there is a salary cut in place within our company which they will fall under.
