Logistics Planner

Logistics Planner required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in East London , Eastern Cape RequirementsLogistics tertiary qualification is essential Minimum 5 years of supply chain experience within the automotive manufacturing environment essentialDisplay a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independentlyGood communicatorGood administrative experience and computer skills are essential i.e. Pivot tablesResponsibilities:To place weekly raw material orders on suppliersTrack customer variation on orders that could be transmitted to our supplier baseExpedite orders using the standard transport modeEscalate material or supply problemsEnsure to monitor on-time deliveryEnsure that all imports requirements are met (FCL/LCL requirements - TO's , forecasts, etc) Review and action delivery discrepanciesManage excess and obsolescence management, engineering change management of parts Work with the team on CIPsCycle count control of parts at risk / needing reviewSupplier management Should you wish to apply please email your CV through to Kerry O'Hagan at ****** shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
