Logistics Planner

Our Client within the FMCG industry Currenty seeks a Logistics Planner, the ideal candidate will oversee Supply Chain logistics functions ensuring on-time order fulfilment.This Planner will be responsible for order capturing and fulfilment, this includes the administration and coordination of all order receiving, processing, picking, dispatching and shipping processes and the management of all relevant documentation.Job Responsibilities:Ensures that all orders are accurately captured into SYSPROTimeously generates and distributes pallet plans and picking slips as per set standardsBooks trucks and containers for both the local and export marketsDevelop weekly loading schedulesSeeks to save costs by reducing storage cost, transport costs and contributing towards the continuous improvement of all Supply Chain processesPeriodically track and report on ordersFacilitate the exportation of orders observing all legal requirementsRaise invoicesKey Competencies:Excellent team playerExcellent time managementWorks Comfortably on MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Strong willed and self-motivatedSolution drivenWorks well under pressureMinimum Requirements:Understanding of Imports/Exports legislation including INCO TermsDegree in Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent qualification will be advantageousAt least 3-5 years of experience within a relevant field.
