TasksCoordinate and oversee all aspects of the transportation and distribution process, including scheduling, routing, and tracking shipmentsLiaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any logistical issues or delaysMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts or overagesAnalyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures related to transportation, import/export, and customs clearancePrepare and maintain accurate documentation, including shipping records, bills of lading, and customs documentsEvaluate and negotiate contracts with transportation providers and other logistics service providers to secure favorable terms and pricingProvide timely and accurate reports and updates to management on logistics activities, performance, and key metricsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferredProven experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain managementStrong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reportingExcellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholdersProficiency in logistics software and systems, including transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) softwareKnowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and import/export documentation preferredCertification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CLTD, CSCP) is a plusBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience and qualificationsComprehensive health insurance benefitsRetirement savings plan optionsPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional development and career growthSupportive and collaborative work environment
