We have a new opportunity available working for one of our long-standing fashion clients, who are looking for a Logistics Manager to work in their logistics and shipping team. The company design everyday casual clothing to be sold B2B and B2C, as part of their team you will be controlling part of the businesses internally logistics activities. As the Logistics Manager you will be responsible for managing the transportation and distribution of products ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Controlling FOB imports from multiple origins, predominantly from the Far EastControlling customs compliance and entry submissionsDealing with logistical issues as they arise and providing suggestions where appropriate to avoid future issuesWorking closely with the warehouse teamsWorking closely with the external freight forwarders, sourcing the best one depending on cost, quantities, lead times, etcManaging timely and accurate freight invoice sign offCollect and archive documents for international movementLogistics Manager Skills and Experience You must have relevant experience with the ability to work autonomously, and have experience importing large volumes from the Far EastContinuous improvement mindset who is always willing to learnIf you can't find the right role, why not send us your CV
