Location: Plattekloof, Cape Town
Purpose of the role:The cost and management accountant is responsible for providing accurate business information in order to support decisions and strategy execution. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, positive, passionate about performance and should have strong analytical and proven numerical abilities.
Key Job Functions:Prepare weekly/monthly internal financial reports on: o Workingcapital o Margins&costs
– Cash conversion
– Debtors ageing
– Service levels
– Inventory ageing
– Sales volume & valueAssist the category demand team with:
– Sales reporting
– Margin management
– Recovery analysisAssisting with external reporting documents and requirementsManage and analyse financial data using BI toolsAssist with ESG tasksAd hoc assistance to the finance team, as requiredKnowledge and ExperienceCIMA or studying towards a CIMA qualification will be an advantageSolid MS Excel skills, exposure to Qlik Sense will be an advantageAt least 1-3 years relevant experience in production environmentGood interpersonal skills (ability to interact with individuals on all levels of the business)Energetic, self-driven and the ability to work independentlyFinancial reporting skillsPersonal Profile: Proven Knowledge, skills and attitude:Analysing and reporting on financial dataStrong organizational and time management abilitiesCommitment to integrity and ethical conductAttention to detail and accuracyAdaptability to changeResults and action orientatedStrong Interpersonal SkillsTaking InitiativeEnergetic and passionateApplying knowledge & expertiseApplication:Please e-mail your CV to Emma Lamont at ****** ; with a motivation highlighting why you should be considered for the position.
